I walked in at 12:32 to be told they decided to stop serving lunch at 12:30 because they had overbooked themselves with private events and had nowhere to seat us. There were open tables on the patio with other guests already seated out there as well. The woman said try again next weekend but I explained today was my birthday and I really wanted to eat there today. She made no attempts to accommodate us given it was only 2 minutes past the time they spontaneously decided to stop serving. No where on the website does it say reservations are required or that private events will result in changes to normal hours of operation. EXTREMELY disappointed.
I just want to thank The Yellow House for the best Valentine’s experience I believe I’ve ever had. Everything was excellent. The food, the service, the DJ, the atmosphere, and even the young couple sitting beside us. Everything was perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed it. If you want to be pampered and made to feel special, come to The Yellow House. I love this place. Thank you Elaine and Durwood and all your staff. Looking forward to it my next experience with you.
I attended a High Tea event at the Yelloiw House. My best friend took me there for my birthday. It was a wonderful experience. The food was great! I had chocolate raspberry tea and it tasted so good. They even surprised me with a small birthday cake, which was delicious. The owners and waitresses were very attentive and so friendly. I would highly recommend the Yellow House for lunch, dinner, ior any special event that you want to have there.
Some of the best local cuisine I've ever experienced in the south. Chef Hope is absolutely amazing, and her passion for cooking shines through her flavors and amazing attention to detail. Elaine has created such a welcoming atmosphere that you'll have a hard time even getting up from table. Please go and experience The Yellow House, I give you my word you WILL NOT be disappointed.
