On the Passion season of the bear steps here and it is absolutely necessary to make a reservation. It's always calmer. After a guided tour through the Festspielhaus, a return is recommended in this place, which is only three steps away and has a beautiful shaded beer garden. Parking is available. I would recommend a fine apple strudel with vanilla ice cream. It is served generously in a deep plate and tasted wonderfully with cinnamon and raisins. Recently refurbished in traditional Bavarian style but with a modern feel. A delightful coffee shop with a good variety of housemade cakes. Here you can order breakfast and the staff are very accommodating in serving you something you request if possible. Lunch choices are limited...but usually something to suit all tastes. A good selection of filled baguettes are also available. If you are not driving why not try a beer, prosecco or glass of wine. My absolute favourite coffee place in Oberammergau.
We were here with a group of 15 for the Passionsmenu during the intermission of the Passion Play. The food was okay, definitely not great. It was very plainly served without any trimmings or attention to presentation. The tomato soup was delicious, but the fish...was tasteless. The turkey in cream was okay. Overall, a very average dining experience.
It’s a nice cozy restaurant in Oberammergau serving snacks beverages... limited outdoor shaded seating but quite large indoors... service is fast polite as well... good setting outdoors with views of the fountain

Nice staff. The café is very good for breakfast. The offer is not large but sufficient. Breakfast prices are average. Taste was definitely good. Here you can go again.
We found this cafe by accident, and were well rewarded. We enjoyed the best poppy seed cake as well cappuccino and coffee. It is located near the Passion Theater.
In the last holiday almost every day there enjoyed the coffee or cappuccino. The cake is also recommended. Especially the Prince Regentorte... Mmh delicious
