We had lunch in the restaurant and one of the owners waited on us. Great service! The food was very flavorful and nicely presented. Food value is excellent! Under new ownership. You can also get a tour of the Abby along with get some bakery items and ice cream all which were very good. We saw several people come in and get 3 to 5 cinnamon rolls (8inch in diameter...HUGE) ...potato salad was the best and bought a pint to go. I am disappointed to say that my recent experience at Thee Abbey Kitchen in Arcadia Valley was quite underwhelming. My family has been loyal customers for over 7 years, but ever since the change in management, the quality of our meals has declined. During our most recent takeout order, we found the fish dinners to be tasteless and lacking a roll, the grilled chicken salad to be unseasoned and chewy, and the tomato chunks to be uncomfortably large. The overall experience was disappointing, especially considering the relatively high prices of $16 for a bland fish dish or $13 for a salad that doesn't satisfy. Unfortunately, we will not be ordering from Thee Abbey again.

Amazing!!! We have been staying in the area for three weeks and finally decided to try this restaurant. We regret not coming sooner. The atmosphere was great, the food was amazing, and the service was attentive. The meat is from a local market, the bread and rolls are made in-house, and I can't forget to mention the delicious homemade ranch chips. This place is a gem that shouldn't be missed. We only wish we had more time to visit again.

We only went for lunch, but it was absolutely amazing. The food from the bakery must be made from my grandma's recipe, it's just that good. We had a delicious lunch today! The only thing I regret is not buying more cinnamon rolls. I also appreciate their ambitious commitment to preserving and restoring this historic gem. Even though we live a few hours away, we're already planning to come back and stay at the bed and breakfast.

The salad bar is excellent, with a variety of fresh options. The fried appetizers are delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The menu selection is good. The service and location both receive a rating of 3 out of 5.
