First, the inside seat was cold. We prefer to sit inside so we can take jackets and ski boots at lunch. But that was not possible because the waiters insisted to leave the door open to serve outside. Two of us ordered a mixed grill plate consisting of a bunch of frits covered with three small pieces of meat and some overcooked vegetables. The meats were so small that they could be eaten in 4 5 mouthful total, which is a RIPPOFF!!! Then to finish this disappointing meal, the waiter informed us that it was only cash! WTF? It is 2023, everyone has Apple Pay or cards and there are 4G everywhere, but no, this apology for a restaurant insisted that they only take cash. Fortunately, we live in 2023...
Stopped off at this restaurant whilst skiing as it was busy and that is always a good sign. Sat down got spotted straight away by a couple of waiters Waitresses. Had a look at the menu waited and waited. After 20 minutes and various members of staff trying not to look at us I stood up and went directly over to a waitress and started to speak to her asking if we could order. She just plain blanked me and ran away, the waiter who was standing next to her made an equally swift exit when he saw how amazed I was by her reaction. At this point I went back over to my wife and we left.
On a wonderful sunny day it is the perfect place to end after a hard day of skiing and to look down the valley from Monkey Bar to Saalbach and Hinterglemm. Serves Stiegl beer (sleeps every day 3-4pm, and all day Monday)...jolly, somewhat rotten and efficient Bar Biet usually serves there, unless it is cold, in this case he delegates to miners who are not so efficiently sad in the vicinity. Ribs are good when in....
Tolles Ambiente. Wir saßen am warmen Kachelofen. Die Essensauswahl ist überschaubar aber gut. Einzig für Vegetarier ist die Auswahl gering. Aber man ist direkt auf meine Wünsche eingegangen und hat einen Salat individuell zusammengestellt. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und hat sich bestens um uns gekümmert. Alle paar Minuten wurde nachgefragt ob alles passend sei.

living room. we sat at the warm flowing stove. the choice of food is manageable, but good. only for vegetarians the choice is low. but one has received my wish directly and an salate is joined together. the personal was very accommodating and cared for us. every few minutes were asked if everything was appropriate.
Two beers take half an hour!! This happened bar, where you can only have drinks, not in the main bar. The waiter said I was alone. This is not the right reason because people get their second and third drinks. I ordered these beers four times before I get them. Bad workers 14.2.
Haben die Alm im Rahmen des Montolino Erlebnisweges zur Rast aufgesucht. Sehr urig, sehr freundliche Bedienung, angemessene Preise, super Kaiserschmarrn und unser Hund durfte sich im nahen Weiher abkühlen.
Many breaks, many alms, but that was definitely my favorite. One of the oldest. Good food (sp. man's daily special of half a frying chicken he feeds on it). Just a little expensive.
