Thurnher's Milchbar (milk-bar) is a very particular lodge: trendy lifestyle-café with unique atmosphere - alpine lifestyle and modern design and relaxed lounge tunes.Highlight are the creative sandwiches - self baked bread with a choice of toppings - simply delicious! Futhermore you can get milk-shakes, different coffee varieties, home made cakes and daily specials are on offer.Private parties and events can be organized on request.
The staff obviously take pride in cooking the food as the pasta and Sausage lunches with various breads were great and very fresh. They also take great care with their drinks. Irish coffee came with a glass of water and hot lemon involved a teapot of hot water, a bowl of lemon segments with squeezer, honey and a cup and saucer. Then only issue we had was that the drinks arrived after we'd eaten most of our food.
Lovely milkshake bar at the foot of the slopes near to the lift, and in the middle of Zurs. Go there mid morning for a nice rest and a recharge!
