Tiamo Cafe Restaurant

My lasagne had about 8 (minimum) really thick layers of pasta with not much in between. The bechemel was really thick and floury and the tomato sauce seemed to be rehydrated tomato. The same tomato sauce was used for my partner's chicken parmigiana on spaghetti which was not much chop either. Friends had the Moroccan lamb though which looked really good, as did the pork cutlets with mushrooms. A couple positives: the garlic bread was really good and we didn't go hungry as the portions were huge.

Was in Perth on business. This was one of the few restaurants open on a Sunday afternoon in the area. It was quiet but had a steady stream of customers. Waiting staff were all very pleasant. The menu essentially consists of pasta dishes or meat and seafood. I had a very respectable seafood risotto that was nice and creamy. Combined with a starter of bread with dips and an ice cream, the bill came in just under $55 which seemed reasonable.

Tomamos un visitante para cenar a Tiamo. La comida era muy normal por el precio. La comida no parecía recién cocinada, pero recalentó. La espinaca Tortellini contenía un relleno de color crema con la textura de la masilla. Resentido a pagar tanto por la comida que podría cocinar mejor en casa. Es un restaurante, eso es lo que hacen: comida. He estado en Tiamo antes, pero nunca más.

We took a visitor out for dinner to Tiamo. The food was very average for the price. The food didn't seem freshly cooked but reheated. The spinach tortellini contained a cream coloured filling with the texture of putty. I resent paying so much for food that I could cook better at home. It's a restaurant-that's what they do - food. The service was terrible.. took over 15 minutes to take our orders. Coffee took 35 minutes to come out and food took an hour and there was only about 3 tables in the restaurant with people on them. Food was also average.. uncooked and rushed and some was overcooked. Staff were friendly but unfortunately the rest of the experience was shocking. Would not recommend.

Disappointing lunch. It was not a busy day, but orders were slow to be taken. Meals took quite a long time to come out and were cold, barely warm. The response from the staff was off-hand and indifferent. My companion ate her meal while I waited for mine to be microwaved and returned! Meals were not cheap. Won't be rushing back in a hurry.

So so disappointed that our local and much loved restaraunt has stopped serving breakfast. The staff here are great and we have always loved the food and coffee, but to the new owners, this is a poor decision and you have lost some loyal customers.

This is one of our regular restaurants and we always have good food here. The specials are good. The food is consistently well prepared, service friendly and efficient. You can usually get a table easily and BYO. Recommend Reserva una mesa ahora

Friendly greeting upon arrival, good menu choices. The main meal was fresh and tasty and the 4 of us all commented. Desert and very nice coffee to finish.All in all a good experience

Food of a high standard - everything tasted like it was home made. A variety of vegetarian dishes. Coffee was wonderful. A reasonable price for what was given. Lovely staff. Desserts wonderful.
