Tight Tacos Authentic Street Taquero

I had a great experience at Tight Tacos, located on Cesar Chavez, right by the mini mart. The owners and their children are genuinely involved in the community, and you really feel the homemade touch in their food. What stands out to me is the quality of everything they offer. Their customer service is excellent, the tacos are delicious, and their evolving menu is impressive. During the pandemic, they briefly stopped serving steak because they couldn't ensure high quality, and I appreciate that they didn't compromise on their standards. This place has adapted beautifully to its surroundings, responding to customer feedback and changing their offerings based on availability and their mission....

Tight tacos is incredibly tasty but this review is for delivery. Unfortunately nearly every time I've ordered delivery the order has been wrong. The Sandy location has never given me chips (when I pay for 2 bags). Other items have been missing like onions, cilantro, etc. Division location was closer to my actual order but missed the guac (that I paid for). There is no way I can find to contact either location. I wish I could depend on delivery because we love this food and spend a lot when we order (we get the family kit).

If you're looking for a quiet spot to enjoy tacos with a friend, drop everything and go now. It could potentially be a great date place, but chips and salsa are best shared, and I'm not taking the chance of double-dipping with someone I don't know. The veggie taco was especially delicious, and the steak taco I had was phenomenal as well. The chips are made fresh, and the salsa had me questioning if I should get another round, despite the few glasses I had already enjoyed.

DELICIOUS! I like to get the zipper nachos with the chips on the side (do it!!! it's fantastic! Then if you don't finish your food you CAN save it! I never finish, it's a large portion. They offer Topo Chico among other drinks. I have had the tacos, but definitely prefer the nachos. They have indoor seating, not great parking of course... Reserva una mesa ahora

The Quesataco was delicious and unique! 2corn tortillas packed with meat and cheese then deepfried! Yes, the cheese was crispy but it was good! I ordered one asada,one pastor and one birria. they were all 3 yummy! The Chips are unique also. Small thick chips. Not a fan of the nacho cheese dip. Would love to try their version of queso!

This is hands down the best Mexican food I've had in Portland. The burrito I ordered (I got it wet with double meat) was generous and packed with flavor. The tacos and queso tacos were absolutely amazing—just delicious! The consomé had the perfect level of spiciness. I'm already ordering again as we speak!

I ordered the zipper nachos, and the portion was quite large—perfect for sharing with another person. The food was delivered quickly, and I appreciated the variety of toppings. I would definitely order them again.

Yes. Do it. Get yourself some tight tacos now. The beef here is seasoned to perfection and don't even get my starter on the margaritas. This is the perfect spot on a nice day with outdoor tables. Reserva una mesa ahora

The tacos were passable but not enjoyable. They were cold, the meat (Asada) was chewy and the tortilla didnt taste fresh. The beans and rice were fine.

Incredible! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor! I think we've discovered our new favorite taco spot!
