Uber Eats almost ruined my night but Joey, the owner of Tikka Indian Grill at both Astoria and Kew Gardens, saved it!We placed an Uber Eats order on Sunday night but it was heavily raining in the NYC/Queens area. Uber Eats canceled my order and REFUSED to give me a refund since I canceled before the estimated wait time which kept on getting pushed back to almost 2 hours ...In my last hope, I called the restaurant and Joey worked closely with me to provide a fresh, new order and let me pick it up on my own. Had a great dinner at the restaurant with authentic Indian cuisine and superb service. The waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The ambiance is a bit romantic in modern Indian style. Lighting is low and they have a great Indian playlist. I have no clue what the lyrics mean, but some were so nice I used Shazam to save it.My Chicken Tikka Masala was flavorful, a little spicy, and delicious. I love the papadum rolls with chutney trio they serve while they prepare the food. loved the atmosphere, food was great!! I would definitely recommend bhindi jaipuri it tasted like a very homey food and kadai chicken as well was very delicious kinda spicy but loved it,coconut shrimp was very tasty but I think they should make it a desert instead of a dish or appetizer!!!!! Service is something they should work on, it was not the worst service but if they work on it they can earn more customers. Definitely will come back!

I visited this restaurant once and I don’t think I’d go back here. The food was mid, lacked flavor and not enough spice. I’d recommend the lamb biriyani, but besides that everything else was overrated. I wish Bangladeshi owners did more to introduce authentic Bangla cuisine and add more spiciness because Bangla cuisine is so amazing. The staff were nice. The loud music and sometimes inappropriate videos was annoying.

Order 3 rolls from Uber eats today and one of them had a few pieces of crystal looking rocks inside of them. (Praying it’s that and not a decayed tooth). Pretty sure I swallowed one of the pieces. Be careful when you eat! Sucks because last time the food was pretty good!

$18 for this little tub of butter chicken. Standard Indian flavors, but their price and portions is definitely skewed. Their apps that cost $10 as well are way overpriced. Guess that’s inflation for ya!

Food was really flavorful and the server was very bubbly and friendly! He recommended the chicken chop which was yummy. The portions are on the smaller side here though, and pricier.

Uber eats messed up and canceled the order without the option to refund.However the owner, Joey, was able to help us out.Great tasting food and service.10/10 recommend

Really delicious Indian food--I tried their dal bukhara when I was craving lentils and now it's my favorite soup in Astoria!
