The night before visiting this restaurant, my car broke down and I was unable to leave. The staff and customers were friendly and welcoming, except for the owner who seemed disinterested and repeatedly told the same cheesy jokes and engaged in meaningless conversation. He even forgot my name when I paid for my round of drinks. Perhaps he is new to handling cash, possibly a retired school teacher or government pensioner. It was difficult to get a free drink out of him, and he seemed annoyed when I asked him to put on the Flyers game, suggesting he may be an Islanders fan.
