Standing in a lunch line for this type of food never felt so good. It reminded me of being in 100F+ degree weather in the jungle and smelling the faint scent of sweet filipino style BBQ on fire. If you have ever had any decent Filipino food in your life and want the best that San Diego has to offer this is the place for you. Typically on any day there is a line out the door, so be prepared to spend at least a little time to understand good food is worth waiting for. Looking to try some Filipino food? It may not be as good as my wife or mother's cooking, but it's worth a try. This restaurant is the place to go if you want authentic Filipino cuisine. While some places may have a few good Filipino dishes, this place is the best. I say almost all because I still think my wife is a better cook. I taught her how to cook, and now she's surpassed me. But I still make the best dinuguan.
My relatives referred me to Tita 's since I 'm not from the area and I didn 't want to go to G ?! ks down the st. I ordered the pancit with caldereta. The food was delicious and fresh! Almost as tasty if not better than my cooking! Ha ha. Highly recommend eating here. The place was busy, which is a good sign, when I ordered for lunch. Parking lot is small and they accept credit cards too.
I have been coming to this restaurant for more than 12 years. It serves the most delicious and authentic Filipino cuisine. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous. If you're willing to wait in line and be patient, Tita's cooking is likely the best Filipino restaurant in San Diego. They excel in both quantity and quality, offering truly authentic dishes. Those who haven't visited this place are truly missing out on a great dining experience.
The BEST Filipino food place we know of when it comes to large portions and authentic flavor. My mouth is watering... So, here we are 8/5/2022; the food is as good as ever, though prices have gone up, the value and quality is still the same maybe even better. That says a lot.
