When I was born and raised in Florida, I always have my BBQ (comes with the area), and I will say that this place exceeded any expectation I had. The chicken was phenomenal, the pulled pig was exceptional, and the ribs could 't make it to stay on the bone. Not only their proteins on point, but also the sides dominated the pallet. The Mac 'n cheese was homemade and gooey, the Koleslaw was crunchy and fresh, and so on. Please allow The Pit Stop to be the next place you dare for your next BBQ conversation. My fiancé and I came here for the first time recently and we will definitely be back. He had the chicken and I had the combo platter with ribs and pulled pork. I also had the Mac n' cheese and coleslaw. Everything was amazing! I usually don't like Mac n' cheese, but they have changed my mind! The side of B-B-Q sauce was also delicious! The only thing I regret is not coming here sooner! They will definitely become a staple in our household!
The weather was warm, allowing us to dine outside and enjoy the lovely greenery. Everyone in our group ordered pasta for lunch, and we were all very satisfied with both the food and the portion sizes. It’s a fantastic spot to take a stroll around the green after your meal. As someone from Tennessee, I was warned to savor as much BBQ as I could before moving to Tampa since I wouldn't find any good options here. Let me tell you, I was happily proven wrong! This place serves some of the BEST BBQ I've ever had! And don't forget to try the baked beans—they're life-changing!
The ribs are awesome! The meat has a unique consistency and it's full of flavor. To add bbq sauce, ANY sauce, would be a tragedy. The baked beans are very good as are the collards. I can't wait to sample the rest of the menu!
We've been visiting this restaurant since 2009. The service has always been friendly, and the meals are consistently well-prepared. The menu offers a great variety, and the wine selection is excellent.
OMG. Really, really good barbecue. The ribs are big and tender and juicy and have that perfect combination of good smoky flavor and a really nice dry rub. if you're looking for good barbecue eat here.

The BEST BBQ in a 25 mile radius by far! When I drive by the Pit Stop and I smell their smokey goodness, i can't help but do a u-turn and buy enough for 2 meals.
