Toad Rock Retreat - Reserva de mesa

Pleasant pub near the Toad Rock formation in Tunbridge Wells. The beer was in good condition. Several areas to sit outside, and the interior was nicely decorated. I went on a very quiet Friday afternoon and there were only two other customers so a very sedate atmosphere. Friendly welcome from the staff. It's probably more lively in the evening! Didn't try the food but the menu sounded good. A good place to stop if walking around the area.

Have been here a few times over the last couple weeks, and on my first visit, it did feel I walked into a very local only pub, but once in found it to be a nice quirky pub. Service was great and friendly, and nothing was any trouble. Food was lovely with a lovely piece of fish and chips that I struggled to finish.

Just took my Mum for lunch for her birthday. It was a great atmosphere. Ourselves and our dogs were made to feel like one of the family- even the dogs were made a fuss of and given treats. The vegan option was very nice- roast veg tart with chips and salad.

Had a really lovely pub lunch while visiting the nearby Toad Rock... a friendly welcome from Nick the owner, and a really tasty lunch, means we plan to come back! Really wish this was our local! Reserva una mesa ahora

Lovely pub, very friendly staff. Cosy inside, has outdoor seating and dog friendly. Food good, had ham sandwich and salmon sandwich, both good and chips nice and crispy

Really nice pub, old character with fire, not many left like this. Sad to hear they don't do food, as the last time I visited 2 years ago it was fantastic place to eat.

Lovely friendly pub. Wonderful curry night, great service (with a smile), really good value and the food is delicious. Curry Night is a regular treat for us!

Always nice to drop in after a dog walk and very friendly staff plus publicans. Also nice to grab a pulled pork bap PS Sure the dog loves it too! Reserva una mesa ahora

When busy parking is ridiculous. Great staff though and very cosy.
