Toast in Mount Pleasant is an absolute gem for a quick breakfast stop on a Thursday morning before hitting the beach! From the moment I walked in, the friendly and knowledgeable staff made me feel right at home. The fact that the food is locally made by people who live in the area added an extra touch of charm. Not only did the staff serve up a delicious breakfast, but they were also happy to share their insights on fun things to do throughout the day in the area. Their recommendations made my beach day even more enjoyable! The food itself was a delightful blend of freshness and flavors. I loved knowing that the fruits and vegetables used in my meal were locally grown, adding a burst of season...

We were a party of four for brunch. We were seated right away and greeted by our server within a couple minutes. The server was very nice, engaging and made excellent recommendations. She brought our drinks quickly and kept them full throughout our visit without being asked. We started with the beignets which were delicious. The coffee drinks were fresh and served piping hot.Our meals came in a reasonable amount of time and were served hot and very fresh, like they were made from scratch. And, the servings were very large. If we are back in the area, we'll definitely be back.

I had my doubts about the beignets, especially since we’ve tried them in New Orleans and have found that many places fail to get them right. But these were genuinely impressive! They had the necessary multiple layers in the dough, just as they should. However, the only downside was that they cost $8 and were about the size of tater tots, which felt a bit off. A true beignet isn’t just fried dough (like what you might get in Boston); it should have that flaky, crescent-like layering, and these hit the mark perfectly.

First visit here and we did enjoy it. I wasn’t impressed with the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit because it was plain but the home fries was good. We also got the crab cake sandwich which was good, the dry rubbed ribeye that was good but they should have offered a steak knife. Service was good and quick. Fortunately we got there just before the rush so we were able to be seated right away. I do plan on returning. Reserva una mesa ahora

Was there for a Shipyard park baseball tournament. We went at 11am on saturday and was seated right away (although i was told Sunday is better to get there before 10am) . Food was divine and drinks were very tasty! I got the Florentine eggs benedict and my husband got the blue crab omelet. Both were so good. We're gong back tomorrow for the other things on the menu that we wanting too!

The beignets didn't quite taste like traditional beignets and were lacking sufficient powdered sugar. However, the Eggs Benedict was enjoyable, and the create-your-own omelet, served with home fries and an English muffin, was excellent. It was clear that the restaurant was short-staffed, but the staff present were doing an outstanding job trying to keep up with the demand.

Even though there were many empty tables when we arrived, we had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated. It took a while for our mimosas to arrive, and in fact, our food was served before the drinks. The food was decent, nothing particularly remarkable, but the mimosas were outstanding. Our server was attentive and did a good job.
