Tokyo Dori Sushi Grill

I usually don't like to give negative reviews about nearby restaurants, especially when I've had good sushi there before, but today was a different story. I brought my daughter for lunch and although the sesame chicken was okay and the udon was decent, the fried noodles and desserts were the standout dishes. However, there was something off about the oil used to cook the food - it was either old, rancid, burnt, or reused. I decided to stay quiet and not mention anything to my daughter. The service was also quite slow, but I won't complain about that. The restaurant's carpet was visibly dirty as well. Overall, it might be time to start looking for a new place to eat.

Located in the center of a basic strip center, Tokio Dori was a fantastic find for us. They offer an extensive selection of sushi rolls and more. While there are plenty of good sushi restaurants out there, this place really wowed us! Our group tried the California rolls, Happy, Iiban, Lion King, and the incredible Poki roll (featuring spicy tuna and seaweed salad on top). The restaurant is peaceful and the service is excellent.

Food is always fresh and very good. Only disappointment was they have stopped serving the broccoli ?. Made my meal feel incompleteWent back and found out they don't serve the broccoli with a salad like they did. That was fine by me, so I ordered a side order of it.

I had an amazing experience at the restaurant. I wanted to take photos of their Rocklin Roll and Gyoza, but they were so delicious that they were almost gone before I could even take out my phone. I will definitely be ordering from this place again. Reserva una mesa ahora

The Honey Spicy Chicken is amazing, and the fresh salmon and hamachi nigiri are excellent as well! We have been loyal customers of this restaurant for over 15 years and love it.

I ordered the sashimi, the fresh and tasted amazing my friend ordered two different rolls that he totally loved. the location is very clean and service was very fast

The calamari was tough like beef jerky, the sunomono salad was soggy and unappetizing, and the sushi rolls were just okay but too expensive.
