Most people go to the Hibachi side of this restaurant, but the other table service side is also very good, very quiet, and feels safer during Covid. They have the usual Japanese choices, the entree come with a salad . You can order the Hibachi style food if you want, and they bring it to you already cooked on a plate. Or order something different I like the beef negamaki. If you don't have kids that need to be entertained by the Hibachi chef, the other side is a good choice.
We went for a late birthday dinner on a Saturday night and the restaurant was a teenage hangout on the dining room side and overrun with a rowdy semi-formal college function on the hibachi side (said event relegated our party of five reservation from the hibachi-side to the dining room area). If their atmosphere is like this at Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse on most Saturday nights then you probably want to avoid this place at these times.
We had not been back since the pandemic. Our kids like this place for the theatrics. T but the chef skipped a lot of the usual routine that night. That was disappointing. And the salads did not come until some of us already had hibachi food on our plates. So basically the service was off. In fairness we came in on the late side.
This restaurant is an excellent choice for hibachi, with delicious sushi options as well. The prices are reasonable, which is a bonus. My son loved the entertaining show, and we will definitely be coming back. Reserva una mesa ahora
We enjoy dining at this restaurant for their delicious sushi and sashimi. The drinks are expertly crafted and the warm sake pairs perfectly with the sushi and sashimi. We also love the avocado salad.
Food was good but service was awful. They served the food and rushed us out and gave us boxes after only having three bites. They didn’t give us water. For the service alone was 0/10
I felt pressured to leave even though the restaurant was not busy at all, there was no one else there.
