Describing what we received tonight as food should be considered criminal. This was absolutely the worst meal I have ever been served from a restaurant. We ordered two chef special dishes; orange beef and orange chicken. Both were comprised of rancid grisly cuts of meat and soaked in a thick soup of bright red sauce with nothing else. I had never ordered from this restaurant before, but now I realize I've been wasting my money elsewhere. Their General Tao's Chicken is perfectly balanced—it's not too sweet and has just the right amount of heat to enhance the flavor without being overwhelming. Most places I order from make it overly sweet, which isn't to my taste. The Side of Plain Lo Mein is outstanding; I couldn't stop eating it and the flavor really stands out. It might just be that the cook did an exceptional job tonight, but I'm looking forward to seeing how consistent their food is over time. I’ve always loved this place. But they must have gotten new cooks or something. I just order hot and sour soup it tastes like they dumped a container of black pepper in it, and I also got shrimp fried rice and the peas are hard. Never again will I get the hot and sour soup from here. That golden buffet by McDonald’s has the best hot and sour soup. Got crab Rangoon’s and of course they were delish as usual though.
My family enjoys dining here because the food is consistently delicious. My favorites are the sweet and sour chicken and General Tso's chicken. The new waitress is charming and patiently took our order. The atmosphere is authentically Chinese, and I especially appreciate the calligraphy and paintings adorning the walls. I highly recommend coming here for an authentic Chinese dining experience.

Whenever I order through GrubHub in Troy, this restaurant is the only one that consistently delivers my entire order correctly. The food always arrives hot and accurate, and I always receive my sauces and napkins as well. I've had three perfect orders in a row!
It had been a while since we last ordered from Tokyo Peking, and the food was both hot and delicious! From the hot and sour soup to the General Tso's chicken, everything was fantastic!
I am always satisfied! The food is consistently fresh, hot, and tasty. I strongly recommend trying the Sesame Chicken and the pork egg rolls.
We order take out from Tokyo Peking regularly, and have never been disappointed. It's our favorite Chinese food in the Dayton area.
