Tomato Grill - Reserva de mesa

Beware of so called happy hour drink prices! Ordered a vodka martini and a cosmo for $7 each. The bill showed $9.25 and $8.50 respectively. The waitresses explanation included the need for up charges for being served “up” and in martini glasses, none of which is explained in the menu nor requested by us. Our limited time prevented further discussion for a small amount but, if we return, I’ll specifically ask for a $7 martini period.

My wife tried the pepperoni and mushroom pizza and absolutely loved it. I decided to customize my dish with shrimp and scallops in marinara sauce over cappellini, and it was fantastic. The purple martinis were delicious. The service was excellent and Adrien, the manager, even came by to check on us. I highly recommend visiting the Tomato Grill.

The tomato basil soup and my granddaughter's wedding soup were both outstanding. However, I was not impressed with the tossed salad as there were not enough greens and too much macaroni. I only ate 1/3 of it. The desserts were delicious. I would recommend the restaurant overall, but I would not recommend the tossed salad.

I got the chicken parm sandwich and a side of the “anti” pasta (that contained pasta) salad it was not good at all. The chicken was dry and flavorless the ciabatta tasted stale. Also the pasta salad had romaine in it which was unappetizing. Do not recommend Reserva una mesa ahora

Our soups were fabulous. We also tried a veggie pizza. It was very good with a light, airy crust that showcased the veg and cheese well. We were sad to find out later at home that our leftover pizza was stacked together and stuck into one large piece.

Hadn't been there in a while but food was delicious and fresh. Atmosphere comfortable and service attentive. Huge menu of items and specials as well. Will be back.

I visit this restaurant frequently, but was slightly disappointed with the scallop dish, especially considering the price.
