Just was working in the area today and had never noticed this place. As a pizza lover I try as many as I can. This place is awesome, not only is it affordable despite being on Selby (I got an XL for 23$ , but the owner is a real deal guy who genuinely cares about what product he puts out. He keeps it classic but does it legit, doesn't do the yuppie bougie crap. I've tried five or six other places in the area lately and this is the only one I'll be going back to..... Ordered delivery, cheese pizza and jerk wings. The pizza was very good, as a native New Yorker the pizza reminded me of NY style. The wings were also very good, I am critical when it comes to wings and these were some of the best I've had in awhile. The wings were seasoned and cooked perfectly and they were a good size as well. My friend from New York recommended Tommie’s. She said it was the best she’s had since moving to the Cities. I got a cheese slice. Their crust is the exact perfect ratio of crispy to chewy. It was delightful! The service was kind and the establishment clean as a whistle. Go. You won’t regret it. Stumbled upon this place and was far from disappointed! I got the two slices and a soda $8.99 deal. Slices were HUGE! Soooo delicious too. The pizza crust is unique and so damn good.
