On August 13, 2023, my wife and I visited Newark and chose this restaurant for a meal. However, I was quite taken aback by what I observed while waiting in the car after receiving my order. I noticed the staff member preparing food wearing only one glove, and he was also handling cash with that same gloved hand. It seems to me that maintaining cleanliness and hygiene should be a priority, and it wouldn't be too difficult to implement better practices. For instance, having two people working the food truck—one for food preparation and another for handling transactions—could greatly enhance cleanliness. This hot dog truck has been a staple in Branch Brook park for years and there's a very good reason they've been around for so long.....they're great . They serve an NC all beef dog and a smoked hot sausage. As far as toppings, they have lots, My favorites are mustard, kraft and hot onions. Oh, they don't have kimche, avacado, aole' or any other sort of foo foo toppings, this is an Old School hot dog truck. Depending on when you get there, parking might be tough and there might be a line, but believe me it's worth the wait.

Without a doubt, this is the best restaurant I’ve experienced since moving here! I'm currently pre-ordering before they open because it's all I've been craving. If I could eat this every day, I absolutely would! It's definitely a must-try, even for someone as picky as I am. The hot onions are phenomenal, and you won’t be disappointed!

The staff is highly skilled, works efficiently, and is always friendly. Keep in mind that there is often a line due to their popularity. As for parking, there are some spaces available both in front of and behind Tony's hot dog truck. Reserva una mesa ahora

I had the chili cheese hotdogs, and they were fantastic with hot sauce! The hotdogs topped with onions, ketchup, and mustard were also excellent. Plus, the bread was incredibly fresh. Overall, a great experience! (9/14/2023)

A good Frank they put it together well. The hot onions and sausage is Nirvana. A definite repeat destination only if they had benches to set up on the parks grass. Can't have it all this was worth the price.
