Torch Pressed Sushi

I just want to say a special thanks to the staff for taking my last minute order. This place serves delicious food. I see people complain about the price, but to me, the quality matches the price. Though there are 2 things I would change… I’d suggest using a higher quality corn, and less sodium in the lobster so the lobster flavour can shine through. Oh, and the yuzu mojito made me smile so much! It was incredibly refreshing.Definitely worth noting is the fact that this place is NOT wheelchair friendly. There are 2 doors to get inside, and only the outside door has a button to open the door, the other door only opens manually. Also, there are 2 shallow steps to get up to the counter to place...

Following social media highly recommendation, here I came. Tried the sushi tasting box, torch press sushi are top-notch, anything you can say is perfect, the presence, flavor, ingredients freshness are just fabulous. But the roll sushi is quite a bit greasy inside with the ingredients I can’t say. Luckily there are two roll sushi separately. Especially love the packaging of roll sushi, read the instructions and you’ll finally make a roll with crispy nori/seaweed. To be honest, a crispy nori really matters for a sushi. This was my second time visiting this location and most likely i would not go back. The service is great. The staff there who took my order and handed it off to be was great. However my torched pressed sushi did not taste right, i couldnt even hold the rice with my chopsticks as they were breaking into pieces, the flavours of the sushi were a little off and overall I told myself I wouldn’t go back. It’s sad as this place was the first place that popped off in my head when I thought about torched pressed sushi. The quality is not same as before. My go to spot for sushi!! Absolutely LOVE this place. Their torched press sushi is perfectly made and presented every single time. The Wagyu Surf and Turf bowl is oh soo yummy!!!Just fyi its more of a Take Out spot… The store shares a space with about 3 other restaurants/dessert places resembling a cute hang out cafe. Got the tasting box for takeout, and it was delicious. Each of the pressed sushi was full of flavor and well constructed. The toro handroll and lobster handroll were a nice addition to the box and I appreciated their use of a divider between the rice and seaweed to keep the latter crispy.

Really cute spot with lots of little vendors around! The bento was great because you get a little taste of everything. The sushi was buttery and melted in my mouth! The otoro hand roll was also really great! Definitely a great spot for pressed sushi!

My daughter bought me take-out from Torch and I was blown away by how good it was! I love that there is a divider on their box. It just made it more presentable and organized. Would definitely go back once in the area again. Reserva una mesa ahora

Fish quality is always A+. I usually get sashimi and the tasting box. We love the tasting box because you get a little bit of everything. The scallop torch sushi is divine.
