Really nice authentic Japanese restaurant/sushi bar. Cosy interior (definitely recommend a booking for weekends), very Japanese feel, excellent friendly service. Food is very good (except for the wagyu beef which I found average, and not worth the additional cost). Had the degustation menu, and while expensive, it is really good to get multiple dishes. While each one seems small, I left feeling really full. Seated at the bar, you get to see the sushi chef in action. Truffled cabbage smelled of truffles, but I couldn't really taste it while eating. Service was prompt and attentive (water refilled almost immediately)

Sometimes the decor of the restaurant doesn’t match expectations and sometimes you know when you sit down, you’re in for a great meal. We wanna just straight up give this place a five but that would break out own rule : <br/ <br/ This place is definitely a hidden gem and honestly you can’t say you’ve had real Japanese food until you eat here. Simply one of the best in Sydney, yeap I’m foodie shaming you into coming here! <br/ <br/ Everything was great duh~!

It was recommended by my friend in Sydney who is also Japanese like myself. I loved all their food and price is reasonable compared to Melbourne’s Japanese food. Every ingredients tasted fresh and they have a great selection of Sake. I would definately recommend anyone looking for authentic Japanese to make a visit. Tucked away in a residential area of Cammeray. I also loved how they played “Showa music” : Keep us the good work!!

Love their miso eggplant and grilled sea bass fish head yet the yakitori are very good as well! Authentic japanese little restaurant, eggplant was slightly fried and served with a thick spread of miso sauce on top, the tangy sweet taste made me lick my fingers! The grilled bass fish head was seasoned with salt, the meat was very tender and juicy! Wasnt dry and overcooked at all! Reserva una mesa ahora

Friendly staff, AMAZING food, touch on the pricey side but still i can not stress how fresh and amazing the food is. Layout is beautiful as its small, homey feel and traditional japanese. Sake recommendations were perfectly matched and exactly what we asked for. Very professional staff, chef and food preparations and presentation Love this place!

What a beautiful find in this little suburb,we were absolutely blown away by the quality of food here. Service is top notch, super accommodative even though we rocked up at 7pm with no booking but endeavour to find us a table and ended up only waiting for 15 minutes. Will definitely be back again for the degustation menu.

Very nice restaurant! It’s a really authentic Japanese restaurant runs by real Japanese people. The scallop and the matcha creme brulee were really good. The matcha was the best that I could find in Sydney. Not to forget the chef was kind enough to explain the fishes and took a picture of us

Toriciya Japanese is an authentic Japanese restaurant situated in Cammeray. Pictured: fresh sashimi platter, daifuku and green tea ice cream. It was a nice surprise to find a strawberry inside the daifuku. We enjoyed the food. There were more food, but I can’t find the pictures : Reserva una mesa ahora

Food is good, fresh, pricy. Everytime when I make the booking, he always tell me ’minimum spending is $50 per person’. I only here this in this restaurant. While it’s easy to make it over$50, sashimi is $100 per person, food is good anyway.
