We are new to the area and just had dinner at Trap Rock on the recommendation of a local we just met. It was really great! From meeting the hostess at the front door to polishing off our dessert?.it was a pleasure. The menu was creative, the presentationwas lovely and our food was divine?not to mention our waiter?who was professionally friendly, informed and an asset to ourvisit. I cannot say enough nice things about this place. We chose this place last week as part of a business dinner and it was amazing. We ordered every appetizer on the menu and everyone was amazing. The biscuits and pretzels were my two favorites. The entree?swere outstanding. The service was excellent. I have been to a lot of places in this world to eat and this one is in my topthree. To the owners and staff keep up the excellent work I cannot wait to return in a few weeks.
Extremely pleased with the service here! The atmosphere was great. Good tunes and great food and drinks. My servers name was Crystal. She was very kind and personable. Had a great, energetic attitude and was quick to take care of us. The food wasphenomenal from the apps to the entrées. I have been coming here since 2006, and by now, I consider myself a regular. This place is not your typical brewpub; it's on the higher end when it comes to food, and the prices reflect that, so don’t be surprised. Everything you get here—beer, wine, cocktails, food, and service—is among the best the state has to offer and surpasses many experiences in Manhattan. It’s definitely worth the trip.
We went to Trap Rock for our anniversary for the first time. Both the service and food were excellent. We had 2 dedicated waiters one for our beverages and one for our food. Both were helpful with answering our questions and offering suggestions which helped us decide what to order in terms of food and in house brewed beers.
We often, continue and highly recommend for lunch, dinner or drinks. Always an excellent experience, great service, friendly staff, creative dishes well prepared and atmosphere cozy and comfortable. Soups are fabulous as well as their own brewed Ghost Pony beer. Try it yourself and see if you agree!
The food and service are exceptional. We've visited this restaurant numerous times and have always had a great experience. I celebrated my 66th birthday there last night, and they surprised me with a complimentary dessert, complete with a candle.
