I came in to Koblenz on the boat, and this restaurant is very convenient to the dock area. They have a nice patio area. Pfferfling mushrooms were in season, so I ordered the special pasta dish, and it was fabulous! When I appreciated the food,...the waitress became more friendly, but she otherwise looked as if she'd rather be anywhere but working. The owner apparently knows lots of the people who come to eat, because I heard lots of greetings being exchanged, but the experience for others is quite different. The food was worth it, though!
We have eaten here this afternoon and found it very badly. There was, in our thoughts minimal attention to the food. The woman who served us was unfriendly and absolutely not welcoming. The plates were thrown on the table and the food didn't even taste...well. My spaghetti had burnt garlic and my husband's salad came from a ready-made package. If we ever come in Koblenz again....... we're gonna eat in a place with friendly people and where the food is made with passion. People, please eat somewhere else, not here.
Just off the waters edge, we sat outside and could watch the boats go by. The owner I presume , a very passionate woman, regarding her food. I had the pasta of the day, Penne Arbriata and he had the house salad. We asked if...they could do a garlic and rosemary pizza bread, which was not a problem . It was easier to speak italian than german, it appeared to work ok. All in Euros (wine and fizzy water) Good home cooking , huge pasta portion , cute way of serving it up. We would go again.
Especially tomato soup was extremely delicious. Pizza's are on average. Pasta options are better than pizza's. The restaurants in the area are usually overcrowded but Adria is spacious and always have available tables. I did not understand why staff treated us in such a unfriendly...manner. They were reluctant, almost rude and not children friendly. First and the last time for us.

if they like pizza and pasta italian style for good money, this is the place they are meters away from the promenade along the Rhine, the waitresses were laborious and helpful. with the Luca app. the pasta was delicious and plentiful. not much else. except to say thank you. we're coming back.
On a day trip to Koblenz, we spotted this place in the morning, and saw it was Italian, so came back at lunch time. The food was excellent, and the service was excellent too, no doubt about it, when we come to Koblenz again,...we will certainly eat there.
arrived and were well received, despite being a windy day, we rested inside. the trattoria has the same look as in italy. just a few meters from the river mousel. the antipasto and spaghetti primavera were well prepared and in a good amount.
eating was okay, not really good. but the service was really bad. the woman who served us was not nice.
