Great Italian food in Kirkland. We have visited Mundo on various occasions in the past and have always been pleased with the food. We have tried many different dishes and all have been excellent. Service is excellent at the start and you are made to feel welcome when you arrive.Their on-line reservation system works very well. This time, we tried two daily specials, the braised short ribs, stuffed orange roughy and pasta. All were excellent. The short ribs were melt in your mouth delicious and the fish was excellent. We dined as part of a party of eleven people ranging in age from grandparents to ten year olds. Never felt rushed during our family dinner that lasted two hours plus. Excellent selections and five daily specials to chose from. Every item served was perfect. I could find no fault. High quality wine by the glass and our host selected an excellent bottle of Brumaia Chianti Reserva that was outstanding. I highly recommend this Northern Italian type cooking. So refreshing not to be overpowered by garlic smells that many times is used in excess to cover up bad food. This is my new Italian gem. Don't tell anyone. Place was packed with locals so do make a reservation.

We were 3 couples who went for dinner. The affable host seated us at a nice round table. We ordered wine and bottled water, and were brought a basket of freshly baked, hot rolls.Appetizers included shrimp cocktail, stuffed peppers, portobello mushroom, and I had the mussels. Everything was delicious!Main courses were steaks and pork roast (neither of these choices were great), eggplant parm, and ai had veal Francesca, which was delicious. The risotto and green beans were my sides, and they were very good.Fresh fruit and teas and a cappucino finished off the lovely meal.Service was good.

Went with friends from the West Island who do not like to drive far. Easy to get to off the Trans Canada and plenty of parking. We had the shrimp fredda which was missing the crab and avocado but the shrimps were delicious. When we mentioned the missing ingredients they quickly presented a calamari salad which was also good. I had Osso buco which was very good and it came with a delicious risotto. My husband had the veal chop and my friend had the dorado. All of us were very impressed with our main courses.Service was attentive and pleasant. We had a good time and I would go again. Reserva una mesa ahora

4 of us went to this restaurant during a snow storm in Montreal. When we arrive at 6.40PM, we were the only guests in this large establishment. IN spite of that the chef had a number of very interesting specials. All of our meals were outstanding. The service was very attentive as there was no one else to look after until one more couple arrived. Great salad included with the meal so you need a big appetite to also have an appetizer. One of the best Restaurants on the West Island of Montreal

Mundo is our go-to place for some family reunions when we crave the finest Italian cuisine in Montreal. The atmosphere, the personnel, the service, and the culinary experience are completely fabulous! I highly recommend the Mundo fine dining experience that will leave you craving your next visit. Excellent food and service - a little on the noisy and crowded side, but worth it.A very popular dinning destination for every group celebration in the area. As such, weekends are particularly busy with large table gatherings.Food and service are superb!Reservations are a must.

Great place!! Service staff was knowledgeable and efficient. Food was delicious. Mushroom risotto was good but a under seasoned. We all enjoyed the experience and the food.
