Great dinning experience all around. Service is prompt, attentive, but not intrusive if you want to sit and talk before or after eating. They never rush you to order or leave. The facility is well maintained, neat, clean, with muted colours and design. The bathrooms are well lighted, fairly accessible, clean, and well supplied. Food selection is excellent, more traditionally prepared Italian fare, from pasta and carne to salads and fish. I've had over a dozen meals of a variety of proffered entrees, all have been exceptional in preparation, presentation, and flavor. Pricing is reasonable for what you get, but that metric is subjective, so see for yourself. I've yet to be disappointed.
My husband and I took my mother-in-law here for dinner tonight. She's 95 and needs a little help here and there. The owner saw us coming in and held the door open, took us to the nearest table, and helped her get settled. He was very kind and patient. The decor is quietly understated and very clean. The tables are also a nice distance from one another. There are two decent sized dining rooms there as well as some seating at the bar. My pasta was good! The portions are generous. I had the house salad which was only okay. It has too much dressing g and it had too much vinegar. We all enjoyed our meals and the service was good!
Ok We are here one more time. 1st the maître was rude. We laughed at how bad it was , my son texted me a picture of a banquet dinner meal. He had the veal.lol Just a guess ? I do not know but the chicken dishes taste like they are premade and warmed up ? By far the worst chicken spedini I ever had. Of course it was the most expensive chicken spedini I ever had. Along with the chicken Romano. No flavor. To be honest we thought we had a senior citizen, cafeteria.......bland. Only good dish was a seafood special. So it will be the last time going here.
Dinner for four Monday June 3, 2024 530 pm. We were seated promptly and greeted by our server immediately, who offered cocktails and wine. We proceeded with appetizers consisting of fried artichokes and two orders of shrimp. Salad or soup accompanied the entrees of pork chop special, salmon special, chicken spedini, and porcini and wild mushrooms risotto with saffron. Finished the evening with chocolate martini, tiramisu,cassata cake , and key lime cheesecake. Atmosphere and ambiance were very relaxing. First time experience and would return again.

As always, Trattoria Toscano is a restaurant we go to for special occasions. It was my birthday today. The place is always spotless, and the food is always delicious and the service is impeccable. Although this place has always had great ambience, their recent remodeling has elevated the ambience another notch. . It's a family run business and it shows.
Just ok. Atmosphere was good, but the food was ordinary. When dining in St Louis, there are many excellent Italian restaurants. I could cook at home and compete with the food here. Nothing bad, but would opt for another restaurant if I were you. Had eggplant and chicken Spedini.
I am gluten free, so the only substitution they had was gluten-free spaghetti noodles. They didn't tell me that in till after my food came out. I know now. Service was great other than that. Cute little place to grab some pasta and a glass of wine.
Food was excellent, albeit pricey for the main entrees. A great place to eat for special occasions and gatherings. Recommend but keep in mind the pricing. Google will have you believe it costs the same as Applebee's.

Great place for lobster ravioli. I have had several meals here and have note been disappointed ever.
