Travellers Rest

We were staying at an Airbnb down the road. This was the closest place. We had a tasty meal that was reasonably priced. The best part was the warm and friendly staff. From booking on the phone to every interaction, they were so friendly. It felt like a 'local ' and yet as outsiders we were welcome. It would be great to sit outside if not for the rain!

Great local pub. We went for a special occasion and all had Sunday Roast. Food was lovely. They even brought out extra veg for us. We had one person in a wheelchair and this was accommodated. Nice atmosphere and staff were great! Attentive and efficient. Great dessert choices too. Hard to choose which to have.

we eat here tonight,all the food was cold,dining room was cold.beef i got was a lump of fat,told the young waitress take it she never told the maneger.not rush back.

Great food. Good selection of drinks. Friendly atmosphere. Non alcoholic beer on tap to cater for drivers is a really nice touch.
