Treadwell's Ice Cream

This charming ice cream parlor is located on the way to Salem. You can create your own sundae or choose from a wide variety of ice cream and sorbet flavors. Established in 1946, it has a cozy, homely atmosphere. Many of the customers seem to be regulars who know exactly what flavor they want as soon as they walk in.

I visited Treadwell's for the first time today while in Salem, and it was a fantastic experience! The staff were incredibly friendly, and even during my short visit, their warmth was evident. I also purchased a pint of ice cream, which they filled all the way to the top. It was amazing! Thank you, Treadwell's!

We visited on a rainy day and enjoyed the best ice cream! The coffee and Oreo flavor was fantastic, and the portion size for a single serving was quite generous. The owners were very friendly and shared that they’ve been running this business for over 20 years (if I remember right).
