The best way to describe this restaurant is as a non-authentic version of Mexican cuisine. It's evident that there isn’t a single Hispanic person working in the kitchen. The name may be fitting, but the food definitely falls short. The ground beef tasted like, well, beef; the salsa was entirely made from red chilies instead of tomatoes; and the rice was remarkably bland. I tried the chimichanga, and it seemed like they just took everything and blended it together, stuffing it into a tortilla. There was nothing inspiring or particularly flavorful about it. The kids' tacos were made with soft corn tortillas, but a word of advice: children don't enjoy raw corn tortillas. We spent $80 for a meal...

The food was surprisingly delicious, made with fresh ingredients and a lot of attention to detail. It's definitely far superior to the typical Mexican food you find from Sysco trucks almost everywhere. I would suggest reducing the salt a touch, but aside from that, everything was fantastic. I wish I had tried this place sooner, although the high school cafeteria vibe had initially turned me off. I will definitely be returning!

The food was decent, and the restaurant was clean. However, I had an issue with my dish as it contained some rubber from the vegetables. I mentioned it to the waitress, who apologized and promptly took the rubber to the kitchen. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable for the amount you get.

The food was excellent, the staff was engaging, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, like everyone knows each other. It was a great mix of regular customers and newcomers. We had a wonderful time!
