The food was disappointing and not what we had expected. We ordered takeout to sample the dishes, as my dad was craving crispy pata, pork sisig, and laing. I also tried the pork BBQ, which turned out to be quite dry. The pata was a bit bland, and the laing was overly creamy without any authentic flavors. I’ve been to many Filipino restaurants, and this one just doesn’t measure up. It feels like they are catering more to non-Filipino customers. It seems that either the main cook lacks experience in traditional Filipino cooking, or they are trying to accommodate a different palate. I want to say thank you, Ate Madel. She was very helpful from the start. We were so lucky that the date we asked was available. Tribu was recommended by my good friend. Last minute planning is stressful enough. It's a good thing Tribu offers party package deals. We didn't have to worry about anything. Our guests loved the food. I appreciate the fact that they are very generous on the serving Highly recommend this place for your next party. Again, thanks Tribu staff for making my daughter's baptism so memorable.
I still long for the old Tribu Grill food. Since the new management took over a few years ago, I've only visited five times. Honestly, I wouldn't have returned for the second, third, fourth, or fifth visits if it weren't for supporting our friends' bands and attending birthday or Christmas parties. The food isn't the main draw for me; it's really just the company of friends that keeps me coming back.
I had dinner with friends here on a Monday night. The atmosphere was quiet, which I actually appreciated. The portion sizes were reasonable—not too large, but definitely not small. I enjoyed the grilled milkfish, oxtail and beef shank soup, as well as the crispy tofu and eggplant in a sticky sweet sauce. While I don't eat Filipino cuisine frequently, I really liked this place.

Really delicious Filipino family-style dining at Tribu Grill in Union City. The adobe rice was sooo garlicky and yum. And the lechon kawali was perfectly fried, with bursts of rich fatness and crunch that's so loved in pork belly. Absolutely loved the calamansi cooler's tartness, too!Parking: Big mall lot
I never write reviews but this is worth it. I ordered Chichen with garlic rice family sized. the only thing family sized about this was the mountain of tomato’s and vegetables on my rice. Nothing even said this was on the rice. Plus the rice was soaked in something nasty. Waist of money
The food was very good. Everyone in my group enjoyed their meals.At times, the waiter was NOT attentive to our needs. We had to flag him down. And we were the only ones in the restaurant. The ambiance was very good. It was easy for us to converse. Everything was pleasant and clean.
We came at a good time and were seated right away! We ordered our favorite dishes and each were delicious! Our favorite was the bangus sisig!Loved the decor in the restaurant and hope to experience the live music some day!
