So disappointed in this restaurant. Arrived for an early dinner to try happy hour. Had to ask the waiter what they offered. He pointed to the appetizers and said all of these. Ordered the worst gin and tonic I have ever tasted. They brought me some tonic on the side and it had a weird "funky" after taste that just ruined the drink. Looked like it came from a dispenser. Yuck! Crispy brussel sprouts appetizer and stuffed jalapenos were delicious (although there are only jalapenos Friends ordered NEW YORK STEAK FRITES with potato straws and mushroom cognac cream. Dish came in a big bowl filled with thin straws of "frites" and a slab of steak. Why not cut up the steak into to strips to make it easier to eat? Very hard to cut the steak on top of a thick bed of straw fries. The "cognac cream" was thick an somewhat gelatinous. Not appetizing at all. Thankfully, they had it served on the side. Since the "cognac cream" was a bust they asked for some ketchup. The waiter returned with a large "serving tub" typically used behind the counter to fill small ramekins of sauce that had red globs dripping down the side of the jar and plunked it onto the table saying that way they could have as much as they wanted. I ordered BRAISED PORK SHANK with chile verde sauce, chipotle tortilla, avocado, pico de gallo, ballard grilling cheese, and jalapeno. Tortilla was basically a fried "basket" which was over cooked and flavorless. The pork shank was way over salted and came to the table slightly warm. The "pico degallo" was thick and had corn in it. (The addition of corn would have been good had it been fresh and sprinkled throughout Avocado was brown. Best thing we ordered was my husbands FILET MIGNON with bourbon gravy, portobello confit, yukon potato pancakes. Could easily have made a meal out of the potobellow mushroom and potato pancake stack with the gravy. That was very good but salty. Overall a very disappointing meal. Would not return
