Eat the World NYC review: Sleepy restaurant by day, nonstop lounge by night, Tropical Grill is a very interesting spot on an otherwise uninteresting stretch of Rockaway Blvd heading to JFK. Afternoons are a great time to come here to sample the kitchen's wonderful food, including this fish pepper soup, ranking high on the list of top spicy dishes. Try Nigerian beers as well and fall into the slow-paced rhythm of a West African afternoon at the bar. Or bringa group after midnight for bottle service and see if you can score a seat in the VIP area.

Please avoid this restaurant at all costs because they will frustrate your life. Not only is the customer service terrible, but they also keep switching your order and sending unsealed food.The two plates of rice I ordered today both came unsealed and this is not the first time this has happened. Sometimes when you order carrot cake, they give you red velvet instead or when you order fried rice they give you jollof. I have tried to be patient with this restaurant but Ihonestly don't see myself ordering from here anymore.

This is the first place I've tasted African Cuisine. I'm not a big meat eater but my first dish was the spicy goat with pounded yam and Jollof rice. This time around I didn't want any meat so they made the necessary adjustments to satisfy my request. I truly appreciate the customer service.

Not worth the money. Food isn?t as good as it looks and so little. Their puff puff is as hard as rock. Nothing is fresh. At this rate the business will surely go down.

Food was amazing. The sever was extremely attentive and ensure we understand the different food options that were available.
