I have visited this place so many times with my husband and mom and intend to continue to go here because of the authentic Pinoy food! They have a lot of selections when it comes to lunch or dinner. They also serve good desserts like "leche flan" and "buko pandan."They also serve the "si-log's" (typical Pinoy rice meal combos with "tapa", "bangus", etc) all day. Their serving is above average than what you'll get in a typical Filipino eatery. I especially love their Lechon kawali "Tapsilog," "Lumpiang sariwa" and "mango salad with bagoong!"The servers are very pleasant which is expected of most Filipinos--warm hospitality by the owners and staff is really a plus!I will recommend the place to any Filipinos, or any food adventurers who'd be visiting Windsor! We will definitely come back here again!

First visit in December was phenomenal, so visited again today for a late lunch. Again, the service from the owner and servers was top notch. We were waited on very quickly and all ensured that we had everything we wanted and were satisfied. The food was seasoned to perfection, served hot and was very tasty.Price is reasonable and servings are very adequate.Great atmosphere for family, friends or date. Restaurant is simply decorated, but clean and inviting, and management makes you feel welcome. I highly recommend Tropical Hut, and there is Take Out and also Catering.Parking is available.

We decided to cross the border into Canada for a late lunch / early dinner. The Tropical Hut was the destination of choice. Right off the bat, it was the first Filipino restaurant that we've been to (in the Detroit metro area) that had menus instead of the usual buffet style. The meals were very tasty! I recommend the pork BBQ and the Crispy Pata. Looking forward to our next visit, want to try the Beef Sinigang.

We've purchased some Filipino food (same dish) since the time they've opened. It was fantastic at first but it didn't take long until their portion size dropped and there was far less shrimp. It's become pretty bland now. Very disappointing since they have increased their prices and dropped the quality of food.
