it betrays me to leave this review. trulucks is our favorite restaurant since its opening in rosemont and we were there countless picturesque with our experience, nothing less than spectacular. it was our goal to take guests from the city and to celebrate every birthday and special occasion quite. last night we made a last minute reservation and sat in a stand in the bar. we got in the bar in the past the service and eating the perfection we expected. that all changed last night. the service was terrible. the female server came about five minutes after sitting to our table and said she would be right back to take our drinks orders. she did not return more than twenty minutes. we placed our e...
Birthday dinner started out fine but the rolls we ordered as an appetizer never came until after the entrees. Service was good until we ordered. Then they never came back. We ran out of water and drinks. Finally yelled the waiters name across the restaurant and got water. Ordered another drink but they forgot that also. Had to ask for another one and it finally arrived after dessert. They did mess up and brought 2. Food was good and I have had great service at the Trulucks in Florida. Seemed like the wait staff had way too many tables and were very interested in serving the 2 large tables Will not be going back to this location
we had a nice standing near the front so we could hear the entertainment in the bar area. our server new the menu well and were very attentive. I had the best seabass that was a beautiful size and perfectly prepared. my date had the tuna that was prepared for his request. both were delicious, like the crawling. I was surprised that my birthday dessert was a baked alaska who had it in 30 years? presentation was excellent and the dessert was sooo good.
a beautiful place and atmosphere. eating was average, especially considering it's a high-end restaurant. they pay for the atmosphere. I would not hurry to go back, especially in contemplate other options that are available.

Such a fabulous restaurant. We sat at high-tops in bar and perfect. Loved the singer/piano. The light-up menus were cool. Our server was top-notch and very accommodating for my food needs. Very interesting people watching.
Did not even acknowledge our anniversary, which was very disappointing considering we picked this place as a special occasion. We also noted that on the reservation. Service was very disappointing.
One bartender didn’t look interested in being there, stone cold face. Didn’t make eye contact much. Not friendly. Other than that, top notch
