I had lunch here with friends yesterday. It was lunch time when we went in and we were the only people there so I should have just suggest that we go elsewhere. The waitress was the same person that greeted us at the door. Rude and far from friendly, and was on her cell phone the entire time. She gave us water and I have particles floating in the glass. The average price for a plate is $18. They charge 4% extra for using credit cards. When I ask for forks, she walked over with a fork with dried on food in the grooves! OMG! Are you serious? I'm sad to report that when the former owner, Rene, left, she took the flavor with her! I've been going to this restaurant for almost five years, and my go-to dish was the shredded pork in garlic sauce, which was absolutely fantastic. Everyone I introduced to it loved it. However, since Rene sold the place, I've been there twice, and both times I've been truly disappointed. The dish I once adored now has barely any flavor. We tried dining in and getting takeout, but the results were the same – disappointing. Their chicken lo mein used to be amazing, but now it has no flavor at all. Also, the prices aren't cheap. For those who gave good reviews obviously is only used to cheap Chinese takeout. This place is disgusting. Soup Dumpling has thick skin with cheap takeout filling, black vingar sauce is pink with weird taste and no sliced ginger. Its a fake wanna be dish. Main dishe is overseasoned with sugar which also taste like cheap takeout and even tap water smells like rotten wood. 1:20 PM Wed afternoon, we are the only customer and Girl who works at counter doesn't want to be bothered with her cellphone. We asked for simple things and she makes comments in Chinese with her co-worker. I wouldn't even give 1 star here.
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food is outstanding! One of the women even offered to add rice cakes to the menu for my next visit after I requested this Shanghai dish in a Sichuan-focused restaurant. Our favorites were the shredded lamb with hot green peppers, the crispy Chongqing spicy chicken, and the spicy fish. Food: 5/5

The food was excellent, and the service was satisfactory. However, I was surprised to find a mandatory 20% service charge for parties of four or more, which is not mentioned on the menu but appears on the bill. When I inquired about it, the server indicated that it was considered a tip. Overall, I would rate the food a 5/5.
Without a doubt, the best wonton soup I've ever tasted! I loved everything at Truly Szechuan—the soup dumplings, pork dumplings in their house sauce, Kung Pao chicken, and the pork with sweet miso. Everything was authentic and absolutely delicious.
The dishes were well prepared. The sautéed shrimp was fresh and nicely seasoned. However, the place could use a bit of an update. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 out of 5.

Food is super delicious and tastes healthy, not greasy! Delivery was pretty quick and easy.
