Was welcomed in by the owner, Travis. Grabbed a seat at the bar. Had very friendly service. Ordered blackened flounder, scallops, shrimp that were accompanied with grits, collard and hush puppies. I’ll make this short and sweet. Whoever is cooking this food needs a compliment. All of the seafood was cooked spot-on. The grits and collards are to die for. This is not an exaggeration. I’m glad I got a chance to swing by Tubb’s Shrimp Fish Co. If you’re ever in Florence, SC, or passing through on I95, stop here!! You will not be disappointed!
Excellent food and excellent service. We had sheepheads and oysters that were excellent. I've tested the Brussel shoots that might have been the best I've eaten. Hopping John was a new dish for us with black-eyed peas over rice, but it was also great. Hush puppies ended the great meal. Is definitely recommend Tubbs for anyone who likes seafood and I recommend 'd sheep head for anyone who likes fishy fish. Very mild taste. Just a great meal and just $50 tip.
Wow! Don’t miss this wonderful family owned and operated gem in a remodeled old filling station. We found it five years ago while spending an overnight in Florence. Last night we started with the mussels carefully prepared with a wine, local pork and small bits of blue cheese…wow. We enjoyed the sauteed crab cakes, grilled shrimp and a variety of sides. A wide variety of craft beers and top notch service from Brie and the team….Check it out
My daughter and I ordered takeout from Tubb’s tonight and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. My daughter ordered the Truffled Seafood Mac and Cheese; I ordered the Shrimp and Grits (Their Shrimp and Grits is one of the best I’ve had in Florence. . Both entrees were delicious and filling!!! Well worth the visit.
