The hotel itself was fine, but we were disappointed with the service provided by the two staff members working during our stay. We did not receive a friendly welcome at check-in, and when we indicated that we wanted to have dinner at the hotel, we were told to come back at 7:30pm without a reservation. When we returned at the specified time, we felt like we were bothering the staff by asking for our table, which was not reserved for us. The staff seemed irritated when we mentioned that we were instructed to come at that time. Despite the busy night with a large party in the dining room, the staff made negative comments about the hotel and their jobs in front of guests while clearing plates....
I stayed at this restaurant for a business trip. I enjoyed the convenient location, friendly and helpful staff, great bar, and fantastic food. Parking was easy and I liked the ambience of the restaurant. The only downside for me was that my single bed had a memory foam mattress, which I didn't prefer, but that's just personal preference. The TV didn't work on most channels (not a big issue for me) and the Wi-Fi code was not provided so I can't comment on its quality. The bathroom was small but functional. If I stay again, I would like to try a different room for a fair assessment. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this restaurant to others.
Overpriced food and service left a lot to be desired. Not the usual warm highland welcome and certainly not a good advert for Invergordon or to give people a reason to pop in. I went hoping to rave about this place so lots of people would visit but sadly I can't. The food was average pub grub at the very best but the conservatory has a great view of the cromarty firth. Basics like can we get you anything else is everything okay with your food,would you like another drink etc were all absent. It felt like the lady really did not want to be there. Some better interaction with next tablw who may have been regulars.
Had haddock and chips I’m a chef for 30 years oil needed changed when I tasted it my partner had macaroni it was cheesy which he likes so loved it sadly I didn’t like mine hence why I would go back restaurant is dated where we sitting the blinds had water marks on them no photos sadly then entrance is dirty as in the carpet it’s embarrassing who ever owns this needs to have look at what customers see I seen over 20/40 things wrong

The hotel was everything I’d expected from a small pub/hotel, room was clean, small but comfortable, evening meal was ok, breakfast was good. What wasn’t so good was the welcome I received, or rather didn’t… The lady I saw was to say the least, frosty. I thought that was just her way, but then when she was dealing with locals who were eating there she was chatty and laughing, so in terms of hospitality, nill points.
Excellent views over the firth. Good menu selections, large portions well prepared, cooked and presented. Staff friendly, professional and engaging. Only downside for me was the seating, the majority of which had seen better days and were particularly uncomfortable.
We had a takeaway dinner for three from Tuckers Inn and it was flawless. The food was delicious and the woman who took our order over the phone was extremely helpful.
Excellent small hotel ,clean with a great view . Staff very helpful. Didn't have dinner but the breakfast was fantastic

Short overnight stop here. Room was comfortable but basic. Breakfast was very nice. Nice view over to the Black Isle.
