The layout, decor and idea are all amazing. It replicates an old drive in movie theatre, playing old B-rated horror movies at night, and you're sitting/ eating in a car, watching under a starry sky.Unfortunately, the food was bad. I had the Banh MI Burger and my wife had the chicken salad sandwich. They both came with fries, which were large cut and tasted good, but the pork burger itself was so bland, i couldn't taste it and the pork belly was so tough and dry, it was like gnawing on leather. The picked veg, sauce and herbs, conflicted instead of harmonized and were all i could taste.The chicken sandwich tasted unseasoned and was bland, but at least had some moisture, to make it palatable.T...
The food was certainly pricey, but that's to be expected at Disney. The ambiance was really impressive! Unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing. The Impossible Nachos had very little topping, and the chips were overly dry. The pesto pasta was overcooked and lacked flavor. The Impossible Burger came with a large piece of portobello mushroom, and the tomato was far from ripe. Our server, Christine, provided very poor service, although the milkshake was quite good. Thankfully, Carlos, the manager, took care of the bill for us, but we hardly ate anything.
Tune-In is the drinks-only lounge associated with the 50's Prime Time Cafe and is cute as a button. The staff are amazing. I've been a number of times through the years and this laid-back spot is a must do for a break in the middle of a day at Hollywood. The food was okay, but I really loved the milkshake! I enjoyed the idea of sitting in a car while watching classic sci-fi movies from the 1900s. However, I expected longer films; instead, they showed a lot of advertisements and just a 5-minute clip from a 1900s show.
