We started with the delicious Macho Mary cocktail and ordered the meat and cheese plate, warm artichoke dip with pita bread, and giant Bavarian soft pretzel. Everything was tasty except for the disappointing 'bread basket.' They used to have fantastic sourdough rolls, pretzel rolls, oat bran rolls, and brown bread rolls. Had a great time watching races and visiting with old and new friends. The shrimp and clam chowder was a tasty mix. Also had chicken Caesar which was super flavorful. In all candor, not enough chicken, too garlicky and drenched in dressing(ease it up chef). Service is friendly and they try, though not nearly a speedy service experience. I truthfully came for the annual National Corgi Races and based on that event (laugh, I know it’s funny) I give 3/5 stars.For the history it holds in the sport of Horse Racing, (ex equestrian here) you’d think it would be a bit nicer of a track. I likely won’t be back but it wasn’t the worst venue ever.
I went to see the early morning training of the horses. it was a lot of fun to watch beautiful racehorses, friendly staff, andgood breakfast.I ate oatmeal with strawberries and blueberries.It was only $4 and free coffee.There is nothing better than a good morning meal and lovely horses.
Very beautiful place. The landscaping is breathtaking and feels refreshing just being there. The events are very lively and would definitely recommend this place!

The FrontRunner restaurant is not ideal for romantic dates, as it caters more to those who enjoy horse racing.
The prices are on the higher side, but not unexpected. The service was excellent.
