My family of four decided to try this restaurant on a whim while staying at the hotel, and we were pleasantly surprised. As a picky eater, I was particularly impressed. My husband and I both ordered burgers (I opted for a gluten-free bun), and they kindly allowed me to replace fries with veggies. The burgers were excellent! Everything was served hot and tasted amazing. Our kids had grilled cheese and chicken strips, and they enjoyed every bite. We usually skip dessert, but we couldn't resist the brownies in a shot glass paired with ice cream—and they were fantastic! Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with both the food and the exceptional service we received. We will definitely be coming back...
Unfortunately the restaurant cooks dropped the ball big time. We are foodies and husband is an excellent chef. We were excited for the prime rib. I chose to go with the Burnt ends because no one ever gets the prime rib right. The first prime rib they brought out was grey and well done. He asked for medium rare and it was not even close. They came back with the second one that was still grey with a tiny bit of pink to it. Med rare prime rib should come out very pink and juicy. None of these were even close. Worst experience. Got in at 7:15 pm not waited on or acknowledged for 15 min. Didn’t get menus and had the guy ask what we wanted with no menus. We asked for a menu. Ordered a flat bread pizza which was awful and had a black hair in it. Gas station pizza would have been better. Ordered Parmesan fries which they forgot about but when they did come out wayy later they would have been prbly good but they doused them with awful balsamic vinegarette which mind you is not what they say on the menu. Terrible experience. Avoid at all cost unless you just want a beer because that’s the only thing that is ok. Three thumbs down but looks ok inside very deceiving.
Best food in Boardman, I work near by and I get food every day from all over Boardman but yet to find somewhere with better food. They have a beautiful view of the river from there restaurant and the people are very nice and helpful. This is the second review i have ever made but i had to say something. This is the best spot in Boardman for dinner and a couple of beers. They show sports on TV, and the service is quick and helpful! As for kid-friendliness, the server asked if I was in town for work and mentioned a community event they’re participating in for Thanksgiving dinners.
We came in for Sunday brunch. All of our food was of great quality. The servers were attentive and nice. Beautiful view of the river. My only complaint would be that the Sunday brunch menu is limited. But that being said it made us order the French toast which was to die for!
