Came across Crêperie Ty Coz by chance since we decided to have a drive out to Lamballe one day whilst staying in Dinan. Just happened to be market day, Thursday, so the proposed parking in Champ de Foire had to be abandoned in favour of...a quiet side street. Crêperie Ty Coz was situated at 35, Place du Champ de Foire, so whilst walking round the market it wasn’t hard to spot. What a delightful find!! Once inside it reminded me of how an old-fashioned traditional British pub/café might have been transformed in France. Very popular with the locals, which is always a good sign. Very pleasant ambience, friendly attentive staff and then there was the menu. Extensive choice and everything sounded...
On our way from one place to another we passed in Lamballe and stopped to take a look. When we got hungry we saw this nice crêperie and decided to try it. The place is really nice and inviting and their specialty is the Galletes...the buckwheat flour crêpes. We really loved the food, we tried Gallets with different fillings and they were all good and tasty. The portion size was generous and the cider they serve with them was really nice. The price is average. Service was fast and friendly. There is enough choice, though not ample, for vegetarians. If you still have space do not miss the desert crêpes they are really good.
We liked Ty Coz for the excellent food, great value, and friendly, fast service. It offers a great range of Breton crêpes in a friendly dining room. It’s a local favorite for good reason. We loved the “Lamballais” galette (buckwheat crêpe) with local pork sausage...and sweet peppers, and the Fréhel galette with 5 scallops and a sauce of sweet peppers and chorizo. Desserts range throught sweet crêpes and ice creams. For beer lovers: Breton beer Philomenn from Tréguier (bottled). We enjoyed the cider (brut) instead of wine with dinner.
that's as good as it comes! the hotel is located in the charming city of lamballe, this crêperie offers a large selection of local products sausage, apple wines etc. The service is efficient and engaged and do not miss them on dessert that contain some crêpes flambées.

During a short stay we ate here twice. Service was excellent and happy. The food is simple galettes and crepes. It appears to be very popular with the locals. Should I ever visit Lamballe again I will definitely eat here again.
Lovely charming place,set menu 3 course good choice and great value,also extensive a la carte which we did not try,very clean,superb service,if in Lamballe try you will not be disappointed far better value than uk restaurant .
Nice and friendly service. I recommend to reserve, though we got lucky and took the last table this evening. Traditional crêpes and with a local touch, great cider and a good meal for the whole family.
best galette of all time! very busy with local families. Eat serves all day. all ingredients locally produced and produced. said enough.

my wife and I enjoyed our lunch in this very lively restaurant, although it was busy, the staff was very pleasant
we had a nice dinner here last night. highly recommended if they like sweet and hearty pancakes
