This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. Although it's on the smaller side, they really utilize the space well. While the decor may not be the most impressive, it is definitely spotless. The staff is exceptionally friendly; the cashier, in particular, went above and beyond to manage our group's orders while also taking a large order over the phone. She skillfully handled both customers, providing outstanding service. The cook was efficient and handled several special requests flawlessly. While I wouldn’t say it’s the best barbecue I've ever had, it’s definitely quite good, and my group is excited to come back. When we left, the cashier even encouraged us to host all our monthly meetups there.
Ty's Smokehouse looks incredibly tempting, but unfortunately, the flavor fell flat. The pork was extremely dry—truly dry with a capital D—and lacked seasoning. I ordered to go, and the packaging could have been better; a paper liner inside the Styrofoam clamshell would have improved the presentation. The coleslaw on the sandwich was bland, and the beans were overwhelmingly spicy, as if an entire bottle of hot sauce had been added, which overpowered the dish. Overall, the meal was disappointing. I had hoped for more from Ty's Smokehouse menu.
I've dined here multiple times and have always been pleased with the experience. The grilled nachos are a personal favorite of mine, although the rib tips are also excellent. I really enjoy their sauce! My only complaint is that I usually come here too full to have dessert. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. I also noticed tonight that they offer delivery through DoorDash.
The food at Ty's Smokehouse is exceptional, prepared with great skill and attention. Their chicken tenders are the finest I've ever had, complemented perfectly by the delicious homemade honey mustard. I've heard wonderful reviews about their cakes as well, and although I haven't tried them yet, I'm sure they're equally outstanding!

I've dined here multiple times. Although I have a favorite BBQ spot, I enjoy the diverse menu options at this restaurant. Additionally, they have TVs, allowing you to catch a game while you eat. They also provide their own BBQ seasoning to enhance your meals, which is a nice feature.
I visited for some sandwiches on a Friday evening, and I was pleasantly surprised! The service was prompt, and the young woman who assisted me was exceptional. I truly enjoyed my experience!
This is the best barbecue I've ever had in Memphis! The smoky flavor is incredible, and I'm looking forward to coming back for those wings!
