We went to this restaurant also thanks to the very good reviews of TripAdvisor. Bad mistake. We were 2 adults 2 kids on 10-08-19. The kids took the kid menu with burgers which, sadly, were the only good thing on the table. We opted for the menu corse choosing different things to taste. Appetizer: chestnut soup with pork belly and veggie tarte tatin. Main course: boar stew (civet de sanglier) and trout. Common trait: everything lacked salt. Totally tasteless. Going through them one-by-one: chestnut soup was simply disgusting, they uses some bad quality pork belly or did not remove the hair from the skin... I don 't know but it tasted like burnt hair. Typically of lowest quality pork. Tarte tatin: anonymous vegetables, totally devoid of salt and flavor. Biar stew: simply bad. We had much better in the afternoon at an equally touristic place. You could still taste the low quality wine in the boar marinade. Trout: completely anonymous. I won 't say bad, but that fish was canteen-level food. Finally, the same dessert for both of us adults: chestnut cake. What a misery. Two sheets of spongy cake with cream in the middle. The cake tasted industrial, the cream full of hydrogenated fat. I did not go beyond the first spoon. I feel compelled to write this review because this place does not deserve 4 evaluation on tripadvisor. Maybe the dishes outside of the menu were better (they looked good in fact) but to serve 4 dishes of such low quality (I save the trout, despite lacking flavor and salt it was not disgusting) it is simply not acceptable for any place that wants to call itself a restaurant. Regarding the service, the place was quite full and the waitress forgot our orders but that 's ok, it happens. I am just sorry that nobody asked us was everything fine? , because I would have gladly explained in person the terrible meal experience. I really hope that this review will help someone find better places in Corte and Corsica where the restaurant level is generally quite good. U museu: do something about that menu, please.
