My boss suggested this restaurant because he has been a regular for over 40 years. This was my first visit, and I ordered the spinach and feta omelet with hash browns, skipping the toast. My boss chose grits, eggs with cheese, toast, and bacon. There were three of us in total, and our bill was $33. The service was prompt and friendly, and I liked being able to see into the kitchen.
The best Coneys around! The U of D Coney, situated right next to the University of Detroit Mercy, is the perfect place for tasty food and unforgettable experiences. Every time I visited U of D Coney, it was a fantastic experience. The staff was always friendly and made us feel at home.
This is the only place in the area where I can find all-beef coneys. I'm not a fan of their loose burgers, but the beef coneys and South O Border fries are quite tasty. My only real complaint is that they're only open until 4 PM.

The food was amazing! It arrived hot and fast, and the takeout system was super convenient. I can't believe I've been working nearby for two years and have never tried this place! I'll definitely be coming back often.
I thoroughly enjoyed my spinach and feta cheese omelette; it was delicious. The spinach was fresh, not frozen or canned. The coffee was also lovely, and our waitress was fantastic.
College Coneys is the ideal place to visit at any hour, whether it's late at night or early in the morning! Their coney dog is truly amazing.
