Uc Café - Reserva de mesa

I was several times with my family in Freiburg and every time we go to a UC (Uni-Caffe) to take some meal, either breakfast or lunch. There is allays crowd, and sometimes you must have some luck to find the free table, but it's worth it. And despite the crowd the service is always very friendly and efficient. Portions are fairly great and all the dishes that we have eat are perfect. The place is filled mostly with students, so prices are cheap but quality is excellent!! Last time we were there, we have paid three meals, three drinks and two deserts 35 EUR. I'll go back there definitely next time I'll be in Freiburg.

It is a cafe/bar, which seems very popular already during early evenings. Lots of tables inside and outside, very nice staff! Small selection of foods, starting from breakfasts, to Flammkuchen (really good) and a few salads. Quite an interesting selection of fresh fruit juices and several draft beers. Really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Only bit of downside was the music was quite loud (inside) which made conversation a bit difficult. The prices are reasonable.

After declining the 16 euro breakfast at the hotel, we wandered the city looking for a good place to eat. We almost gave up until a local recommended the UC cafe (also called University Cafe).The portions huge, the food great and the price came out to much less than we would have paid at the hotel. A terrific start to the day. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Freiburg

After a splendid day trip in Freiburg, stopped here for coffee & sweet crepe before making our way back to the train . It's filled with lively students, so prices are cheap but quality is excellent!! Very busy, yet service was very friendly and efficient. Really nice active corner to just sit and enjoy the energy. Would definitely come back for a meal on my next trip. Reserva una mesa ahora

The place is loud - depending on where exactly you sit it can be hard to talk to the people on the other side of the table. Our experience was also dominated by an extremely slow service - we received one flamkuchen (main dish) more...More

In Frieburg for the weekend and got up too late for overpriced hotel breakfast :) This place was perfect, good choice of breakfast meals, good coffee, lots of outdoor seating and a great price. Service was fast and food was good.

We had an espresso and a fresh juice at the UC Espresso-Bar across the street of the cafe. The espresso was superb and it felt like one you can get at a bar in Italy while standing near the barista. Always worth a stop!

Every time I come back to Freiburg I visit my old haunts. The UC is one of them. It's great to sit outside in nice weather and enjoy a drink. I tend to eat Flammkuchen and a mixed salad -great value and very tasty. Reserva una mesa ahora

Went with my 2 kids at a Saturday evening. Currywurst und Pommes were the weapons of choice for us...tasty and spicy if needed

Ate there twice when I was in Freiburg. Very nice place for breakfast, big dishes, fair prices and very tastey.
