Ugly Mug Bar Restaurant

We sat at the bar, where the two young ladies working seemed more focused on their own conversation than on the customers. There were several people eating and drinking at the bar, yet one of the staff members spent most of her time on her phone and appeared indifferent to the customers. She seemed aware that it's a busy place in the mall and that there will be a steady flow of customers, which probably contributed to her attitude. Unfortunately, our food was cold, making the whole experience disappointing. As locals, we won’t be returning and cannot recommend this place to others. It's in a perfect location. Great people watching from the outside seats. Our waitress was very pleasant, informative and no pressure. We share a dish and a few drinks. The fish and chips were good, somewhat cheaper than some of the other nearby places. Have not seen the interiors or taste other dishes. For a quick lunch it was perfect

Beware of tourist traps! The food was average at best and not prepared to order. Condiments came in single-use containers. Our server was kind, but the service was slow. If you're looking for a quick meal without any expectations, this might be the spot for you.

My daughter and I love the Ugly Mug! However, we were really disappointed that they removed their AMAZING Ugly Mug Fries (French Fries in a cheesy crab sauce) from their menu. These pommes were too-the-for and were very missing during this visit! Reserva una mesa ahora

This place is a must see in Cape May. Easy access walking, driving or Uber. Eat outside to people watch. Gluten free options. Attentive staff great service and the food is wonderful. In a hurry? Order take out and zip in and out. Great drinks too

The service was great, and that was also the food. One of the better lobster roles I had in Cape May over the years... a great environment to sit and eat and enjoy some time at the mall. We will definitely come back.

This was a great place been coming here throughout the years. We sat outside and had garlic buffalo wings, a cheese burger, and a hot roast beef sandwich which were all awesome, all was fresh, and beer was cold.

Beyond fantastic! Probably the best French dip I've ever had and the orange crush was top notch!
