Actually, we wanted to visit the annual international gourmet market in St.Ingbert's Alte Schmelz, feed some oysters and a suitable drink there and watch the Blieskasteler-Star-Koch Cliff Hämmerle a little in the show chef. However, we would have been quite late for this, which is why Mrs Simba voted instead for the flea market on the Saarbasarbasar. We arrived both there and alone in the further corridor: no flea market wide and wide, but shimmering emptiness! We were not beaten as fast as we were on our way home the wild park with its Uhu Pavilion. 14 degrees and sun; simply suitable for a rendezvous with ornamental wing, guinea pig, rabbit, Uhu, stone game, donkey, wild cat, black game, Uhu, ponies, snow owl, forest owl, muffle deer, goats, sheep, lobes, widows, deer and deer (I hope I have not forgotten toys)! The entrance is free and also the participation of fishing dogs is allowed; However, they should be guided past the housings and clearances at a reasonable distance. Pavilion and surroundings say playground and Ponyhof can be rented for weddings, birthdays etc. The Uhu Pavilion houses the animal park gastronomy; outside the pavilion itself there are also outdoor dining with barbecue, a small beer garden and a larger tent; the tent has only taken over the pavilion since the Haddzi family. During the season the pavilion is open daily between 11 am and 9 pm. Now is the low season; I think that late in the dark is closed and in winter will only be open on weekends. Ambience: rustic and simple; Children will have their joy here anyway and adults will know what they expect at the latest after the first visit, two and a half stars. Cleanliness: It is quite clean in the pavilion itself, in the outdoor area, an employee fought with the fallen leaf and the wind that does not exactly facilitate his work. Given the negative circumstances, I forgive my three stars very well. Service: If I take the Lord behind the Tresen as a measure, there are three stars, I would focus on the lady at the outdoor grill, who looked out from the eyes of a frustration, two stars would be almost too much. An average of two and a half stars. P.S. In the outside area is self-service. Food and drink: The map is small and has Saarland specialties like Dibbelabbes Co. to offer. There are two lunches; today the pig steak would have been with supplements (the second lunch dish is no longer unforgettable). On the outside grill, white or red rust sausage, curry sausage and crêpes are obtained against the presentation of a corresponding man to be won and paid equally (which does not know twice). Also for mulled wine there is the small Mork inside and the drink. My wife drank Averna, I was a great Karlsberg Urpils. I could not photograph because I had nothing to photograph; we were not prepared for the Uhu visit. My wife would like to have eaten a white rust sausage, I have a red one; When I inspected the grill, there was also a single white, but it was handed over to a guest with a small one. Unfortunately I was without Mork and had to go to the safe first without saving the sausage for my loved one; there was a rush, because of the red rust sausage there were two on the grill. Pick up and pay back to the grill in the pig gallop: I just got the last red. She was well done, my darling was allowed to bite; wait until a finished white, for her would have taken too long, the barbecuemaid did not make facilities to put up new grilled goods. Typical low season! The sausage costs EUR 3.00, the Averna also and half the liter Karlsberg EUR 3,30. There was no culinary sensation at all, but best suited. the coal is taken up and migrated into a fairly antically acting cash register model. As a guest, I don't have to break my head. For food and drink, I forgive three stars, including previous unoccupied visits, where, for example, I fed absolutely successful wild roast sausage. During the wild season you can also buy wild meat (reef, deer, black game) at acceptable prices. On the one hand, this is the course of things, in the wild park itself, one piece of wild is taken to keep the population within manageable limits. On the other hand, the meat comes from the hunting academy of the extremely busy Lord Wüst, who is connected to the well-known Linslerhof in Überherrn. Price: is o.k. Three stars. Conclusion: My youngest granddaughter was very lovable during the last visit, especially in the guinea pig population; we were almost stranded here today, not necessarily lovable, but it was a nice stay. During the next visit, probably hardly before the next spring, one of the three marked paths is taken under the soles: Eulen-Weg, about 750 m goat path, about 1,500 m Luchs-Pfad, about 1,750 m. All three, although equipped with different pitches, are also suitable for children or wheelchairs. Maybe there's wild roast sausage again.
