What happened to my favorite sushi place ? It's going downhill. I completely understand that prices went up, everything did, but the quality shouldn't suffer. Naruto is half the size and the dancing salmon is a shame it's 90% tempura batter and 10% salmon. The only consistent thing is the snow main. Oh when I called the owner (and texted him pictures) I was told that he sees a little of salmon there, the what! And how dare I tell him that they send us garbage, I said it
I came here because the other sushi shop Nikko 2 doors down was rude. I came to review their restaurant again and asked why the employees were yelling and she stated ? that?s how we talk? so I came to Umi Sushi instead. There were more people in Umi sushi than their competitor?s Nikko Sushi next door. A clear sign I was in for a treat. I had the sushi and sashimi combo. The waiter gave me a sample of the sushi called sweet potato mango with sauce and I loved it so
Nice prices. Nice reprieve from closer to the city prices. Spicy mayo was good and the rainbow roll was tasty. Nice full roll and they didn 't skimp on the fish toppings. Service was right on it. Sometimes a little too on it. I prefer my waiter to check up every now and again and come with an ask not just be doing stuff but that 's small. I 'd come back!
I had been to this restaurant once before a long time ago. I ordered shrimp over white rice and tried their new mango roll. They also gave me a sweet potato roll for free. The meal also included miso soup and a side salad. Everything tasted delicious and I especially enjoyed the new mango roll. I am excited to try more items from the menu in the future. Ordered take out from here on a Friday night. We ordered the Beef Negimaki, California roll, Honey River roll, crispy tuna roll w/smoked eel was delicious and a Charisi. Everything was packaged perfectly no spills. Prices were $2.00 more than the menus posted on Google. After unpacking we realized we got a complimentary roll. Would eat here again.
Came here for some sushi rolls and everything was tasty and fresh. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality and they also gave us some veg tempura roll to try. The take out order was prepared right on time and they even called to remind us. Definitely a gem and will be returning.
Amazing sushi. Such sweet and kind people. They also give you a free roll when you order lots of things for takeout. This is a weekly staple. It’s so good. Highly recommend spicy tuna and Philadelphia roll.
