First menu I had foie gras, goats cheese salad, duck and walnut cake, all beautifully presented and delicious. Cadouin is a lovely unspoilt village with an historic Abbey. This was our principal reason for visiting this town and it turned out to be the highlight of our short visit to the Dordogne. Having parked our car we proceeded to walk towards the Abbey when we happened upon this charming restaurant. So, on our return from the Abbey and it being lunchtime we couldn't resist calling here. I had cassoulet, my wife had trout. Both delicious. Recommended.

Excellent address, warm welcome and generously served local products. Surely, and by far the best address in Cadouin! Too bad its location does not favor it over the competition.
