I was looking for a restaurant that made Veal Ossobuco for my “Dinner Party” (the Office fans; Uncle Bacala’s was amazing — meat fell off the bone and risotto was just right. Also got the fried calamari, penne a la vodka, and chicken francesse, all delicious as well (and didn’t have to wait till midnight to have it . The owner, Peter, called me the next day to make sure everything was to my liking and even threw in a complimentary gift card. Uncle Bacala’s gets the Dundie for best catering!
Stopped by the other evening for dinner. Wide variety menu for sure. I had a shrimp fra diavlo, which for the first time, had that spicy kick which most other fra diavlos didn't have. Also impressed with the portion size, which was enough for my next day's lunch. Fantastic service, delicious food, and a great atmosphere, makes this a place worth returning to. I am definitely coming back.
First time back after a three month hiatus and let me tell you definitely worth the wait. Like many other dedicated patrons, we couldn’t wait to get back after their unfortunate kitchen fire that put them out of business for a brief period. Food is extraordinary as ever and I couldn’t be happier for them to be back in business.
Took my wife here for her birthday last night and we were extremely pleased. Great service and fantastic food. I highly recommend the fried Calimari; it was absolutely delicious. It was my first time here, but definitely won't be my last! Reserva una mesa ahora
Great place for good food. Not the best chicken scarpiello I've had but not bad at all. The ambiance was great and the service was very very Italian. I felt I was in little Italy in Manhattan or on Arthur Ave.
Awesome Chilean sea bass. Love their desert peach ravioli. So close to me. It’s great!!peter is always accommodating and friendly. Try it you’ll love it.
Food is outstanding and very reasonably priced. They have outdoor igloo and outdoor tent for those who are at risk or immunocompromised.
