This is the best barbecue I've ever had! The food is incredible, and the service is top-notch. The owner, Mark, is one of the kindest people I've ever met; he truly cares about his staff, who in turn treat customers with the same level of care. After enjoying a meal at Uncle Bub's, I decided to hire them for my wedding, and I couldn't have been happier with that choice. Uncle Bub has our wedding on Friday, 19. May 2017 in Abbey Farms in Aurora, IL. My husband and I have always dreamed that they accompany our wedding, as we have dimmed there several times, so it has worked out as they are a preferred companion of our event. Uncle Bubs was absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding last month. They made the planning so simple and truly went above and beyond what we expected from our catering company. From start to finish they were willing to work within our budget and werehonest about what they thought we should add and what might not be necessary. We hosted Uncle Bun's double graduation party last weekend, and they absolutely exceeded our expectations! The "Bessy," as we affectionately named the pork, was incredibly tender and delicious. The herbal roasted chicken was so tender it practically fell off the bone, and all the side dishes were perfect. There was an abundance of food! Frank and Laura handled everything seamlessly and took great care of our guests. Choosing Uncle Bubs was the best decision we could have made! I don't think I'll ever cook for a party again! Huge thanks to Uncle Bubs and the staff! We can't give enough stars in our review!

Uncle Bub's BBQ is fantastic! The owner genuinely cares about both your experience and the quality of the food he serves. It's clear that his employees enjoy working there, as I often see the same faces, which speaks volumes about the loyalty they have towards him. The food is not only delicious, but the owner himself is remarkable. He has a knack for building friendships and ensuring you want to return to his restaurant again and again. Truly one-of-a-kind, I would refer to him as the godfather of BBQ. Be sure to ask for Mark or Jay; they are both great people to chat with!

I had the breaded catfish, and it was outstanding! I hadn't eaten catfish in years and couldn't even remember if I liked it. When it arrived at the table, I was concerned it might be dry inside, but to my delight, it was perfect! The catfish was tender, juicy, and served hot. I was pleasantly surprised! I will definitely be returning to Uncle Bub's. I already love their ribs, but this is a fantastic alternative dish! Keep up the great work, Uncle Bub's!

Uncle Bubs recently catered our wedding in Elgin, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The food was amazing, and the staff was friendly, approachable, and highly efficient. Our buffet for 180 guests ran smoothly, and everyone couldn’t stop raving about the food. I highly recommend Uncle Bubs for any event. I ordered the Burnt Ends sandwich, and it was incredibly tender and delicious. I found myself adding extra BBQ sauce because there wasn’t quite enough on it. The Mac and Cheese was spot on, but I wish there had been a larger portion, especially considering the price I paid. I’ll definitely return to try their dinner plates, but overall, it was a solid experience.
